Advocare and Herbalife are both meal replacement shakes that have found themselves heavily promoted in the market, especially in the fitness area. And, following the heavy marketing, both Advocare and Herbalife have become widely used by people who want to lose some body weight. These two products are basically similar in terms of effects and benefits. Both Advocare and Herbalife function as meal replacement shakes; that is, you consume the shake as a replacement to a meal. Both Advocare and Herbalife claim to be able to provide you just enough nutrients, neither too high nor too low. Both shakes taste good and pleasant, apparently because they both still contain considerable amounts of sugar. Their sugar levels are still lower than juices, though. But let us note that Advocare contains 12 grams of sugar and Herbalife has 9 grams of sugar. Both products still use sucralose, which is an artificial sweetener. However, contrary to the popular belief, you actually don’t need to worry very much about sucralose. It has been accepted as safe by experts and food safety regulatory bodies including the FDA. Last but not least, you may want to know about the available flavor choices provided by these products. Advocare offers five flavor choices, consisting of vanilla, chocolate, berry, chocolate mocha, and chocolate peanut butter. On the other hand, Herbalife comes with six flavor choices, which are vanilla, dutch chocolate, café latte, cookies n cream, wild berry, and the allergen-free vanilla version.

Herbalife is generally more recommended because it has lower levels of calories, carbs, and sugars. You may need to take some additional protein intake with Herbalife. However, if you need more calories for your daily activities, you should choose Advocare.
